Incorporated in 1981, Winnipeg League for Life Inc. is a non-profit pro-life educational organization promoting the protection and respect that all human life deserves, from the moment of conception to natural death.
Winnipeg League for Life Declaration: As members of the Winnipeg League for Life, we recognize the scientific fact that human life begins at the moment of conception. Based on this fact: We believe that the right to life is the most basic human right on which all others depend, and that this right should apply from the moment of conception until natural death. We believe that technological advances pursued by modern medicine must not destroy or violate any human life. We believe that all human beings have an equal right to life, before and after birth. Society has the duty to uphold and protect that right, using non-violent means.
Did you know that Membership in a pro-life group is as important as your Donation to the group? Membership confirms your commitment to pro-life and creates a 'sense of belonging'. Membership in the Winnipeg League for Life provides the opportunity to attend Board Meetings or be a Member of the Board, to receive a quarterly newsletter, and to have a voice in how funds are spent! The annual membership fees are used to cover the administration expenses such as printing, postage, equipment etc. which cannot be covered with tax-receipted donations. Please consider purchasing a membership in the Winnipeg League for Life if you do not have one. The fee is only $15 per year for a single person or family, and the benefits are priceless!!
